Simon Neich Bushfire Go Fund Me Page
Date of Event Camden Cricket Club: Sat Dec 28, 2019 3:11PM

It was only 2 weeks ago today that we were thanking Simon Neich, and other volunteers from the Club, for donating their time and tireless efforts in support of the drought stricken communities around Condobolin.

Fast forward a week, and Simon himself was lucky to have his home saved in the bushfires that have ravaged the small Village of Balmoral last weekend. Whilst their home was saved, unfortunately everything else on the property has been destroyed, including water pumps and bores, fences and sheds, which also housed all of Simon’s tools and equipment for his painting business.

Simon was insured, but as we all know, this will take some time to sort through, so in an effort to help Simon and his family get back on their feet in the short term, First Grade Captain Dylan Scott has set up a Go Fund Me page. Simon is a current First Grade Player and Life Member of the Club, who as we have all seen, is the first person to put up his own hand to help others. Any donations you can afford to make would be greatly appreciated by all at the Club.
